  "Description": "Processing and analysis of field collected or simulated\nsprinkler system catch data (depths) to characterize irrigation\nuniformity and efficiency using standard and other measures.\nStandard measures include the Christiansen coefficient of\nuniformity (CU) as found in Christiansen, J.E.(1942,\nISBN:0138779295, \"Irrigation by Sprinkling\"); and distribution\nuniformity (DU), potential efficiency of the low quarter\n(PELQ), and application efficiency of the low quarter (AELQ)\nthat are implementations of measures of the same notation in\nKeller, J. and Merriam, J.L. (1978) \"Farm Irrigation System\nEvaluation: A Guide for Management\"\n<https://pdf.usaid.gov/pdf_docs/PNAAG745.pdf>. spreval::DU.lh\nis similar to spreval::DU but is the distribution uniformity of\nthe low half instead of low quarter as in DU. spreval::PELQT is\na version of spreval::PELQ adapted for traveling systems\ninstead of lateral move or solid-set sprinkler systems. The\nfunction spreval::eff is analogous to the method used to\ncompute application efficiency for furrow irrigation presented\nin Walker, W. and Skogerboe, G.V. (1987,ISBN:0138779295,\n\"Surface Irrigation: Theory and Practice\"),that uses piecewise\nintegration of infiltrated depth compared against soil-moisture\ndeficit (SMD), when the argument \"target\" is set equal to SMD.\nThe other functions contained in the package provide graphical\nrepresentation of sprinkler system uniformity, and other\nstandard univariate parametric and non-parametric statistical\nmeasures as applied to sprinkler system catch depths. A sample\ndata set of field test data spreval::catchcan (catch depths) is\nprovided and is used in examples and vignettes. Agricultural\nsystems emphasized, but this package can be used for landscape\nirrigation evaluation, and a landscape (turf) vignette is\nincluded as an example application.",
